Covenant Steel Warehouse, Inc (Covenant Building Systems), located in Dothan, Alabama, is a full service Steel Building Systems Manufacturer. Since our inception in 1996 Covenant has designed, detailed, and fabricated steel for some of America's top industrial, commercial, distribution, and warehousing clients, as well as manufactured primary framing for many of the country's top Metal Building System suppliers.
Covenant Steel was founded in 1996 due to continuing demand for someone to manufacture larger and more complex three plate, pre-engineered type frames. From 1996 until 2002 Covenant manufactured frames for some of America's largest pre-engineered building manufacturers. Covenant was equipped with an auto-welding line which would handle frames up to 84 inches wide where most of the other pre-engineered manufacturers can only handle frames up to 60 inches wide in the auto-welders. In 2002 Covenant made the move into the full service pre-engineered building business. Covenant put together a staff of very experienced engineers and detailers, along with project managers and started the process to provide the complete package - Engineering, Detailing, Fabrication, Delivery, and yes Erection of the pre-engineered buildings. In 2004 Covenant began to see great opportunities in the larger industrial pre-engineered Buildings and Hybrid Buildings (combination of pre-engineered steel and structural steel) as well as Structural Steel fabrication when required. Covenant has the unique ability and resources to design, detail, and fabricate - in house - Pre-engineered Steel Buildings, Hybrid Steel Buildings, and Structural Steel Buildings or a combination of the three to create the most efficient steel building possible. Covenant achieved AISC Certification in 2002 and currently Covenant is AISC Certified per the new "Standard for Steel Building Structures". With internal engineering, detailing, and fabrication we can meet even some of the industries toughest schedule requirements with cost efficient, correctly manufactured steel building systems.
